Thank you for making my Thayer Coggin swirl-rocker-recliner chair beautiful again. I questioned my judgment about re-upholstering a 30-year-old chair after the chair was picked up, but could not believe my eyes when it was returned. It is gorgeous and more comfortable than I can ever recall.
 
Jim was tremendous help with the selection of the type and color of fabric. He also gave me outstanding customer service in letting me know what to expect from the start to the finish. The job and delivery were on time.
 
I would not hesitate to contact Dura-Bilt again or to recommend them. In an upside-down world, you somehow managed to hold on to "quality of workmanship" and "customer service."

This long overdue letter is by way of appreciation for the upholstery work on my two Victorian chairs that was done in December, 2006. The fine detail work, from the matching of the stripes on the double welt trim, to the polishing of the old wood, was very well done. The chairs look new. Also, the charge for all the work done was most reasonable.
 
I will be recommending Dura-Bilt to anyone who needs to have upholstery work done. Thank you.

I just had back surgery - 2 discs replaced. Would you care to guess which couch my physical therapist approved for me to rest on and do exercises when I come downstairs?
 
You guessed it! The "new one" you re-did for us. Should have seen the look on his face when I told him how old my "new couch" really was!

Dear Jim,

The chair that you reupholstered is receiving rave reviews from visitors to our home. I want to pass the compliments along to you and add that it was a pleasure working with you.

You might recall that this was a wing chair we used five different fabrics; it was not a run of the mill job, but you were willing to work with my design idea and the outcome is perfect in every way. I appreciate that you and your co-workers used your experience and design eye to put the fabrics together in the way that best suited the style of the chair and showed the fabrics beautifully. This was a lovely chair that had seen its better days; your work has turned it into a showpiece.

I think it's important to acknowledge that the entire process of working with you and Dura/Bilt was a pleasure. The work is perfection and the bonus is that the project was finished before the date you'd estimated! That's unheard of these days!

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! That is the only word I can use to describe the transformation of our 35 year old shabby Queen Anne love seat to the beautiful condition is in now. Not only was the upholstering work outstanding but you brought the wood back to its' original vibrant finish. I am so elated that I decided not to replace this piece.

Also, the rocking chair which was handed down to my be my grandmother looks equally great.
